TEP prepared and submitted a planning application for new 275kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) substation at Uskmouth Power Station adjacent to the mouth of the River Usk in Gwent, South Wales.
Since obtaining planning permission TEP has managed the discharge of planning conditions. We have undertaken consultation with statutory consultees such as the Countryside Council for Wales and Newport City Council regarding the construction phase and provision and management of ecological mitigation.
