Planning applications regularly need to be supported by an assessment in line with BS 5837:2005 (Trees in relation to construction). TEP offer the following reports in accordance with the Standard.
Tree Survey and Constraints Report
Detailed evaluation of a tree stock to assess the suitability of each tree for retention within new development. This information can be used to inform the design layout and avoid conflicts at a later stage.
Arboricultural Implication Assessment
Assessment of the impact of proposed developments on existing tree stock and advice on suitable protection for retained trees.
Arboricultural Method Statement
Operation-specific method statements for construction activities in proximity to trees, detailing how damage to trees can be minimised through special mitigation techniques, and provide solutions to allow the co-existence of trees and buildings.
