TEP was commissioned by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) to prepare a masterplan and design guide for a mixed use development on a strategic site alongside the River Tees adjoining the town centre of Stockton-on-Tees.
TEP led and coordinated the multi-disciplinary team of consultants which addressed land reclamation issues, planning context, market assessment, vehicular and pedestrian access and linkages, overall urban design strategy, landform proposals, landscape and open space strategy and distribution of land uses.
Following production of the strategic masterplan, an environmental statement, traffic impact assessment and green travel plan were prepared by the team.
