TEP was appointed to prepare a public realm design strategy for the Hawthorne Road corridor in Bootle. The work comprised the provision of a concept design plan and report with detailed designs for key areas along with typical construction details, materials, costs and maintenance considerations.
Following on from the masterplan TEP were commissioned to produce designs for new bridge parapets to create an eye-catching, landmark feature which enhances a key gateway into the Hawthorne Road corridor.
The distinctive design for the new parapets is based on the panoramic views from the bridge and includes high quality lighting.
