The site comprises 73 hectares and is designated in Halton Borough Council’s Core Strategy with aspirations of creating a new community for Halton.
TEP has provided EIA, masterplanning, and landscape design services for this “Strategic Site” which will deliver many of the required outcomes intrinsic to the success and future prosperity of Halton.
TEP’s services have helped Redrow realise the site’s potential, constraints and opportunities and providing pragmatic advice for the delivery of 1145 dwellings; 15,000m2 office and knowledge based facilities; mixed use neighbourhood facilities including a local centre.
TEP has undertaken EIAs providing specialist technical input including landscape and visual, ecological, arboricultural, heritage, waste, land use and climate change assessments culminating in the preparation of Environmental Statements.
TEP’s masterplan was developed through public consultation and an understanding of local needs and aspirations for the area whilst maintaining a focus on commercial feasibility.
In the submission of three planning applications TEP has worked in partnership with experts in a range of sectors including Redrow’s development team and specialist groups.
